Governance

When Bromham Baptist Church was formed in 1924, a Deed linked to the purchase of the land set out the basis on which the Church was to function.

Church Rules were subsequently put in place which governed the way that the Church operated.

In July 2009, following UK Government legislation, the Church adopted a new Constitution which set out in detail the purpose, beliefs and governance of the Church and its status as a Charity.  This document was used in the Church's application to register as a Charity with the Charity Commission, as required by law.

On 16 December 2020, the Church was registered with the Charity Commission as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO).
The Elders and Deacons of the Church are the Charity Trustees.

The Church is a Registered Charity no. 1192819.
