Bollywood Dinner Dance

As part of our Centenary celebrations, a Bollywood evening will be held in the village where we shall also raise funds for the Utange Orphans Project for disadvantaged children in Kenya.

This special evening will include music with DJ, themed dinner and lots of dancing.  An auction on the night will also raise funds for this amazing work among the poorest children for whom a regular feeding programme is in place together with a High School, Medical Centre and Bible School.

Information about the Project
Orphans and disadvantaged children in Kenya have few opportunities in life without a secondary education.

Many have little food and have a single or no parent as a result of AIDS. Whilst all children receive a primary education, the Utange Orphans Project provides free secondary education at a High School with the opportunity to progress to university or vocational training. For the youngest, there is a free feeding programme and, for those who graduate from the High School, there is an optional year at the project's bible school.

The UK based Utange Orphans Charity directs the work through a local organisation in Kenya, which is run by a member of Bromham Baptist Church and her husband. They also work in Utange as missionaries.

By joining us for this dinner dance, you will be directly helping the needy children supported by the project. You can find more about the Utange Orphans Charity, registered no 1160637, here: https://www.utange.orphans.org.
